First day of this 21 day challenge has been a remarkable success. Lets start off with my morning.

I woke up bright an early at 6:00am and jumped out of bed. I put on my sneakers and by 6:15am I was doing lunges and squats in my living room (today was leg day). I exercised for 45 minutes, and then at 7:00am I made myself a protein shake before jumping in the shower an getting ready for my day. After I was dressed and ready to go, I meditated and did some visualization work for 15 minutes outside on my balcony. I then finished gathering up my belongings and headed out the door for school. Once at school I did 45 minutes of voice work followed by about a half hour of reading before class started at 10pm. Can you imagine where I’d be if every morning was as productive as today’s was. I felt fantastic all day. I just now finished preparing for an interview I have tomorrow with an agent from a major agency here in Vancouver, and am now feeling prepared and ready.

So for the rest of the challenge.

3 new things I’m grateful for:

  1. I’m grateful for the support that I get from the readers of this site, and for all the wonderful e-mails I receive from you. It fills my soul full of joy to know that I am making somewhat of a difference.
  2. I’m grateful for my boyfriend, who’s sitting across from editing his second short film as I type. I am grateful that I found someone whose desire to create and be successful doing what he loves is just as strong as mine. I’m so grateful for my partner in crime.
  3. I’m grateful that I am able to indulge once in a while, and have a treat. Not too long ago, Greg and I shared a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake at Trees Organic Coffee Shop. It was delicious

Journal

What is a happy memory from today? The one that immediately comes to mind is improving through a scene with my friend and colleague Charles for our movement project. Improving gave me a chance to let lose and to play, and I had such an amazing time laughing as I acted like a 10 year old, and created a reality that wasn’t there. Pretending to be a kid is so much fun, as we are all really kids at heart I think.

All that’s left is to send a letter to someone to thank them for all they’ve done for me. I know exactly who this first one is going to.
