My Weekly Wrap-up: August 11-17
My Week in 1 Word

My Week in 100 Words or Less
This week I learned the value of down time. I had some problems with low blood pressure, but it appears that I am back to normal now. That was the mystery of the week: why do I feel like I ran a 10k in my sleep when I wake up in the morning. Found out that I don’t have enough salt in my diet. I guess that’s the problem eating mostly green.
Had an amazing interview with musician Bob Rylett for my first article for Cella. Also had some delicious ice cream cake with the staff at Myyogaonline for the last day of one our video editors. Such great people. I love my job right now!
Biggest Challenge
Getting my health figured out has been a major challenge for me this week. Have any of you, out there on the internet, ever had problems with low blood pressure? I ended up buying some salt water solution from a health food store, to put in my water, and that seemed to help. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow I guess, but I’m feeling optimistic.
Biggest Success
I am officially 15 days into my 30 day cold water challenge. I am pretty excited about this. I wonder if these cold showers are helping or hurting my blood pressure? Did I mention that I’m stubborn?
Other than that, this week I had an incredibly busy week. My success is that I was able to keep up with it all. To see my weekly planner from this week, click here. I also allowed myself to sleep in a little bit yesterday, AND I didn’t beat myself up about it. That’s a big success for me.
How do you keep up with a busy schedule?
Affirmation for the Week Ahead
Take time for rest, laughter and play. If you are working your way into a frenzy, stop, and remind yourself why you’re doing this for in the first place.
** By the way, the title for this post is from a game I used to play as a kid. Does anyone remember this game??
I have awakened every day for the past 30 years EXHAUSTED. I’m tried ALL day and sleep well at night. It takes me FOREVER to fall asleep–about 3 whole seconds. I have NO CLUE what causes it. (Looking for answers to that question is how I found your delightful blog!) I’ve NEVER heard of that game, but for decades, as a joke, I always greet people with “High low!” lol… how funny it was a game.
I’ve had a weird problem with energy in the past too. Just keep experimenting with foods and whatnot and hopefully you’ll eventually figure out the reason.
I’m so happy that you’re enjoying my blog!
