Develop a Writing Ritual: A 7-Week Program

Whether you’re working on a project, returning to a creative practice, or healing your relationship with writing, this space is designed to help you reconnect with what truly matters to you in your creative life.

NO UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

On October 2025, we closed our doors to live classes. We’re in the process of putting together video versions of our workshops (including this one) to be released by January 2027.

About the Program

📌 Join one or both components of the program. No previous writing experience is necessary.

In week 1, we’ll come together as a group and begin by imagining the writing practice we each long for, gently naming the internal and external obstacles that arise when we do so. With care, you’ll explore how to meet those challenges and reconnect with why your creativity matters.

This first session is a chance to meet, reflect, listen, and share. In the weeks that follow, you’ll join for the writing circle, the reflection circle, or both.

We’ll all come together again for week 7 to discuss ‘what happens next’ and to write a letter to ourselves 6 months from now, sharing what we’ve learned.

Track One: The Writing Ritual

Give your writing project—whether it’s a book, a set of poems, or a return to journaling—the dedicated time and presence it deserves. Each week, you’ll set a gentle goal and enter a supportive space with others who are also showing up for their practice.

Includes:

  • Grounding breathwork and check-in
  • Shared silence with 40 minutes of uninterrupted writing time
  • Community accountability without pressure
  • Camera-optional environment for privacy and focus

Perfect for:
Writers of all genres and levels who want consistency, encouragement, and a return to flow.

Track Two: Tending the Inner Artist

Explore your inner creative terrain through guided journaling prompts inspired by:
The Artist’s Way (Julia Cameron), The Creative Habit (Twyla Tharp), Big Magic (Elizabeth Gilbert), “On Process” (Helen Humphreys), and more.

This track invites you to:

  • Notice and unearth your internal blocks
  • Create new stories about what creativity means to you
  • Affirm your right to make and imagine

Testimonials:

I have been working steadily for the past year with Christine on a novel that I’ve been writing. It’s been important for me to have the focus and space to write and the weekly sessions have been great. Christine has been patient and thoughtful and welcoming in my journey as a writer. I still have a long way to go, but I am so grateful that she has been alongside me for this journey.”
